Inventory Analyst Cargo

What will you do?
As an inventory analyst cargo, you will be responsible for maximizing the contribution of a specific set of routes. You will develop the flight steering strategy and ensure the correct settings when flights open for sales. You will forecast demand and contribution for each flight and optimize related parameters such as overbooking and bucket settings. Additionally, you will work closely with colleagues from pricing and capacity control to monitor route performance and make adjustments as necessary.
On a typical working day:
- you determine the overbooking strategy and optimize capacity allocation through detailed analysis;
- you prepare tactical steering for upcoming events and ensure proper execution;
- you monitor route performance and propose improvements;
- you participate in major innovation projects and collaborate with various departments to improve processes;
- you prepare the monthly business review and follow up on action items.
Where do you land?
You’ll be working from our office within the dynamic Cargo Revenue Management team. This team works together daily to optimize the performance of our cargo flights. You will collaborate closely with the Area Revenue Manager and other departments such as pricing, capacity control, and business development.
Your profile
You are analytically strong and can quickly switch between different tasks. You are always looking for ways to improve processes and take the initiative to address problems. You pay attention to detail while keeping the bigger picture in mind.
Furthermore:
- you have a master’s degree or equivalent professional and intellectual ability;
- you have experience with decision-support tools and data-driven reporting tools;
- you have knowledge of cargo processes and the organization within the aviation industry (preferred);
- you are proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint;
- you are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
