Global Programmatic Marketing Manager

As our new Global Programmatic Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in maximizing KLM’s global visibility and brand recognition through state-of-the-art programmatic advertising (display, video, digital out-of-home, and digital audio). Your primary objectives will be to drive revenue growth, enhance brand image, and ensure optimal campaign performance across more than 70 countries.
What will you do?
In this role, you will:
- Lead and continuously elevate KLM’s global programmatic marketing strategy.
- Manage day-to-day collaboration with our digital marketing agency, ensuring effective partnerships and campaign execution.
- Optimize programmatic budgets to maximize efficiency and return on investment.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, applying insights to drive ongoing optimization.
- Actively contribute to broader digital marketing initiatives, such as marketing mix modeling, campaign strategy development, and privacy-related projects.
- Support full-funnel KPIs with the goal of increasing reach, website traffic, revenue, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
All of this is aimed at maximizing reach, website traffic, revenue and a great customer experience.

You will join the innovative and dynamic KLM Digital Marketing department, working within the Performance Marketing team. Our department is comprised of four specialized teams—Performance Marketing, Concept & Campaign Marketing, Quantitative Marketing, and Owned Channels & Partnerships—. Your profile
You are a driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment. You stay ahead of industry trends, demonstrate a strong can-do mentality, and are relentless in your pursuit of excellence. To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A bachelor’s (hbo/wo) or master’s (wo master) degree, preferably in a commercial or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on programmatic advertising: experience with social media advertising is a plus.
- Proficiency with DV360 and CM360 (GMP certification is an advantage).
- Familiarity with key advertising tools such as CDPs, Google Analytics, and Channable.
- Experience and/or affinity with technology-driven solutions to optimize advertising performance.
- Knowledge of concepts such as feed management, incrementality, and attribution.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Dutch is preferred but not mandatory.
