What will you do?

As a senior Cloud Engineer, you have proven experience in Kubernetes in a IaC Azure environment. You will be one of the Senior Engineers on Azure. With your proven experience, you advise the team to make the right decisions, and you are an excellent code writer for new versions or updates. You create monitors in Dynatrace, make health checks, policies, pipelines etc. Together with the team, you will be responsible for platform uptime.

You are open minded person and communicatively strong and know exactly how to get your message across in the right way. No matter whether you are in a professional setting or just having an informal conversation - you are always able to communicate effectively.

In an international Agile Team at Schiphol - Rijk. IT Operations is an Air France KLM group responsibility and your teammates are in Amsterdam, Paris, Toulouse, Valbonne and India.The Cloud Native Cloud Ready team delivers self-services to our Development Team. Our mission is zero downtime and reliable and up-to-date self-services.And the team develops new technologies or create updates for our customers, by continuous improvement.We work hybrid. You will join a dynamic young team with driven and experienced colleagues.

Your profile

Are you the talented and very experienced Engineer with expertise in Azure (AKS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (Pre)?

Responsibilities

  • Deliver solutions to our customers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide guidance on designing scalable and secure cloud architecture.
  • Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (Terraform).
  • Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployments.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and cost efficiency of cloud resources.
  • Ensure security and compliance, the best practices are followed in the cloud environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues as they arise.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and cloud computing.
  • Advise Architects, Product Owners and Managment.

Requirements

  • You are a certifcied Kubestronaut.
  • You speak and write fluent Dutch (C1/C2) and English.
  • Strong experience in designing and managing cloud infrastructure based on Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in using infrastructure automation tools (Terraform).
  • You can handle stressful situations.
  • You are CPTE Certified Penetration Testing Engineer (CPTE) and Certified Professional Ethical Hacker (CPEH).
  • Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications in Microsoft Azure.
  • TOGAF certified (The Open Group Architecture Framework )
  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments and integrating on-premises infrastructure with public cloud services.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
  • Understanding of networking concepts and experience with Virtual Networks, VPNs, and Firewalls.
