You work at the intersection of business, technology and user experience. By analysing processes, understanding user needs and translating them into concrete product improvements, you help ensure that digital solutions actually improve the way people work.

Within the CareerJourney team, you will work on the digital products that support and improve KLM’s Recruitment and Onboarding processes. In this role, you directly contribute to how new talent is attracted and integrated within KLM.

What will you do?

As a Business Product Analyst, you act as the link between users, the Product Owner and the development teams. You ensure that products are developed based on the right insights and that they contribute to better processes and user experiences.

Your responsibilities include:

Business process improvement

  • analysing and documenting current business processes;
  • identifying inefficiencies and improvement opportunities;
  • designing future processes that align with the digital product;
  • supporting the business in implementing process improvements.

Translating user needs

  • gathering and analysing user requirements;
  • translating these needs into concrete product features;
  • supporting the Product Owner in prioritising features based on user value;

Supporting product development

  • collaborating with software engineers on functional designs;
  • contributing to decisions on the best technical implementation of new features;
  • organising and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Analysing product impact

  • analysing the business impact of digital products based on KPIs and other metrics;
  • testing products from a user perspective to identify bugs and improvement opportunities.

Driving user adoption

  • organising workshops and product demonstrations for users;
  • identifying and resolving obstacles that hinder product adoption;
  • supporting users in configuring and optimising existing tools.

Where do you land?

You will join the Business Platform PT&I (People Technology & Intelligence) within KLM. This platform develops digital solutions that improve the employee experience.

You will work within the CareerJourney team, which is responsible for the development and management of systems and processes related to Recruitment and Onboarding.

Within the team you will collaborate closely with:

  • Product Owners;
  • Business Product Analysts;
  • Software Engineers.

Together, you ensure that digital products not only function well technically but also create real value for the organisation and its users.

Your profile

You are an analytical professional who easily connects business and technology. You understand how processes work, can identify user needs and translate them into practical solutions.

You are comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and enjoy working in an environment where digital products are continuously evolving and improving.

You also bring:

  • at least 4 years of experience in business analysis, product development or a similar role;
  • experience with requirements analysis and stakeholder management;
  • experience working with digital products or in IT-driven environments;
  • a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree;
  • excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken;
  • Dutch language skills are considered a strong plus.

As a Level 3 Business Product Analyst, you are seen as a reliable sparring partner for stakeholders and colleagues. You take initiative, think proactively about improvements and actively contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
