Project Manager IT

Within the Air France-KLM Group IT, the AFKL Telecoms Department aims to provide high-performance telecommunications and network connectivity solutions and services in terms of functionality, operational performance, and cost. Working closely with the business units, our employees are committed to providing their IT expertise to support the Group's digitalization and its numerous transformation projects.
What will you do?
The Network Connectivity Project Manager will be responsible for:
• Leading and coordinating technical projects (network and/or security) related to our network infrastructure, respecting scope, costs, schedules, and risk management. This will be done using the Agile methodology widely deployed in our department.• Monitoring the budget and schedule of these projects from the initial estimate/quote to the final progress tracking (workload + investments) and through to production deployment.• Establishing a governance structure to ensure regular reporting to all stakeholders, as well as an efficient decision-making process. Producing dashboards that provide a comprehensive overview of the progress of the various projects.• Possess a solid technical foundation, particularly in mobile (3G, 4G, 5G and/or Wi-Fi) and/or wired (LAN) connectivity, to successfully complete projects, with the ability to technically challenge existing suppliers or operators to achieve significant improvements for our clients.• Collaborate with architects and experts in the various fields involved to maintain alignment with the department's overall technical roadmap.
Where do you land?
You will land within the Connectivity department, which is an AFKL Telecoms engineering department responsible for:
• Mobile connectivity services and infrastructure (Wi-Fi, 3G/4G/5G), • Connected objects/IoT, including connected aircrafts• Wired LAN connectivity, • Internal network security (WAN, DCLAN, LAN, etc.) and telecommunications systems (video conferencing, telephony, etc.).
The missions of its teams are to:
• Develop, industrialize, and support network connectivity solutions and connected objects, • Lead technical projects aimed at implementing future network connectivity and security infrastructures at the request of the CISO (Chief Information Security Officer). • Contribute to business projects implementing mobile, wired, or IoT connectivity.This department is distributed across three locations: Amsterdam Schiphol, Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport and Toulouse.Its scope of action is cross-functional and requires collaboration with numerous IT teams to provide connectivity services to all Air France KLM Group employees. Your official office is located at our Point of View building, which is located at Schiphol-Rijk.

You have significant experience in the field of Telecom networks and in managing technical projects in this area.
You hold a master degree or have graduated from an Engineering school.

Other skills
• Team spirit, ability to collaborate across departments and in a dynamic environment • Ability to communicate, produce documentation and presentations for management and business stakeholders in your technical area.• Ability to explain complex technical topics in simple terms • English: B2 level. Due to our group responsibility, all communication and deliverables are in English.
