Medior Business Product Analyst
Within the Safety, Security & Crisis Management business platform, you will play an important role as an IT Business Product Analyst (BPA) in supporting our business units with data-driven decision-making and technological innovation. The platform touches all parts of KLM, meaning your work has a direct impact on the safety and continuity of our operations.
You will work in a product team responsible for delivering maximum business value. Together with colleagues and stakeholders, you translate epics and features into concrete user stories and contribute to solutions that are used across the organization.
The team you will join focuses on the compliance domain, which means you will work closely with auditors. Experience in compliance is therefore an advantage.
What will you do?
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Mapping business processes, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing improvements.
- Gathering, specifying, and prioritizing business and user requirements, including acceptance criteria.
- Translating epics into features and working with the team to create user stories.
- Encouraging the use of innovative technologies within the process domain.
- Performing functional acceptance testing with end users.
- Supporting the team during the implementation of chosen solutions.

Your profile
You are an enthusiastic, analytical, and proactive professional who knows how to bridge the gap between business and IT. You can translate user needs into practical and effective IT solutions and enjoy working together to achieve common goals.
You bring:
- A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Business Information Management, Computer Science, or a similar field.
- Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst or in a comparable discipline.
- Knowledge of and experience with IT concepts, technologies, and application landscapes.
- Experience with process modeling (e.g., BPMN, UML).
- Experience identifying process bottlenecks and proposing improvements.
- Experience with requirements management and translating requirements into features.
- Experience with compliance (preferred).
- Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- The ability to inspire, motivate, and guide colleagues through change.
