What will you do?

As an Inventory Analyst Cargo, you are responsible for maximizing the revenue contribution of a designated portfolio of routes. You develop inventory control strategies for flights and ensure the correct system settings are in place when flights open for sale. You forecast demand and revenue contribution per flight and optimize related parameters such as overbooking levels and booking class (bucket) settings. In addition, you work closely with colleagues from Pricing and Capacity Control to monitor route performance and make adjustments where necessary.

A typical day includes:

  • Defining overbooking strategies and optimizing capacity allocation through detailed analysis.
  • Preparing tactical inventory strategies for upcoming events and ensuring effective execution.
  • Monitoring route performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Participating in major innovation projects and collaborating with various departments to improve processes.
  • Preparing the monthly business review and following up on agreed action points.

Where do you land?

You will be based at our office within the dynamic Cargo Revenue Management team. Together with your colleagues, you will work every day to optimize the commercial performance of our cargo network. You will collaborate closely with the Area Revenue Manager and colleagues from Pricing, Capacity Control, and Business Development.

Your profile

You are an analytical professional who can easily switch between different tasks and priorities. You continuously look for ways to improve processes and take initiative to solve challenges. You have a keen eye for detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.

In addition:

  • You hold a master's degree or have an equivalent level of professional and intellectual capability.
  • You have experience with decision-support systems and data-driven reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of air cargo processes and the airline industry is considered an advantage.
  • You have excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • You have excellent written and spoken English skills.
