What will you do?
- As Head of Data & AI, you will have overall responsibility for KLM’s Data & AI strategy, its transformation agenda, and the financial value it delivers to the business;
- You will set the direction for the AI portfolio, working closely with business and IT stakeholders to determine which initiatives to accelerate, scale up, and turn into visible impact;
- You will drive concrete applications such as the AI for All suite, as well as a range of business use cases including Contingency Fuel Prediction and GenAI tools for Engineers;
- You will work closely with the Domain Data & AI Officers across Operations, Engineering & Maintenance, Cargo, and other business areas;
- You will represent KLM within Air France-KLM and in external Data & AI partnerships such as Kickstart AI;
- You will lead the KLM Data & AI Office and continue to foster a data- and AI-driven culture across the organisation.

As Head of Data & AI, you will help shape this transformation across the entire KLM organisation. You will work closely with senior management, the business, IT, and colleagues across Air France-KLM.
You will lead the central Data & AI Office, with broad responsibility for strategy, value creation, governance, and adoption.

- You have a clear vision of the role of Data & AI within a large organisation;
- You are able to connect strategy, business, data, and technology;
- You focus on delivering concrete results and measurable business value;
- You are confident in setting direction, making choices, and challenging the organisation;
- You can make complex topics easy to understand and bring people along with you;
- You are an inspiring leader who encourages collaboration and ownership;
- You thrive on change in a complex, operational, and international organisation.
In addition:
- You hold a university degree;
- You have extensive leadership experience in Data, AI, or digital transformation;
- You have experience in strategy development and organisation-wide transformation;
- You have a proven track record in stakeholder management at executive level;
- You have an excellent command of both Dutch and English.
