32-40 hours

Are you an entrepreneurial team player with a passion for IT? Do you see existing processes and systems not as fixed, but as opportunities to improve and maximize results? Then come aboard and work together with enthusiastic colleagues on challenging projects, using the latest technologies.

What will you do?

Together with your colleagues, you support management and the business in making complex decisions. You work on advanced Decision Support systems while also contributing to the development of a new generation of systems in Google Cloud and Azure Cloud.

Within a Scrum/Agile working environment, you are the connecting link between business and technology. You understand the business, identify needs, and communicate effortlessly with various stakeholders, from analysts to directors. As a Decision Support Cloud Developer, you combine the roles of business specialist, business analyst, product owner, and software engineer.

When a request comes in from senior management, or when you identify an opportunity for improvement yourself, you take ownership of it. You are not held back by organizational, hierarchical, or political barriers and continuously work on improving the product.

In addition, you also work on cross-functional topics and projects within the department. You actively contribute to the collective effort to keep all tools, systems, and dashboards running smoothly. Collegiality is essential in this: you support one another, share knowledge, and take joint responsibility for stable and future-proof service delivery

Where do you land?

The Decision Support department works for a wide range of departments within the Air France-KLM organization, including Pricing, Revenue Management, Digital, Distribution, Sales, Offer Management, and Cargo.

The systems you develop, along with the data and insights they generate, provide an essential foundation for achieving revenue targets. This means your team plays a crucial role in Air France-KLM’s profitability.

  • You develop and implement Decision Support systems based on your knowledge of relevant business processes;
  • You identify opportunities that create commercial value and/or contribute to the organization’s efficiency;
  • You apply new techniques in the areas of cloud development, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning;
  • You participate in various business projects and also contribute to department-wide, cross-functional initiatives;
  • Together with your colleagues, you share responsibility for keeping tools, systems, and dashboards operational and continuously improving them;
  • You maintain contact with a wide range of stakeholders within and outside Air France-KLM, from colleagues in Paris to external partners who work with your systems.

Your profile

You are a passionate and entrepreneurial team player with strong analytical skills and a clear affinity for IT. Logical reasoning and analysis come naturally to you, and you enjoy developing and implementing systems yourself.

You do not simply accept existing processes as given, but actively look for innovation and improvement. Your powers of persuasion and communication skills are valuable in this regard, as change does not always generate immediate enthusiasm. You are also skilled at building and maintaining relationships, work with cultural sensitivity, and feel comfortable in an international environment.

You also understand the importance of collaboration within a team where everyone contributes to shared results. You are collegial, support others when needed, and actively contribute to an environment where knowledge sharing, engagement, and shared responsibility are central.

And working on-site in Paris from time to time? That sounds good to you.
