Business Analyst Level 2
You will be working within the Information Management Organisation (IMO) of KLM Engineering & Maintenance. IMO supports the business in achieving its objectives through continuous optimisation of processes, information provision and organisation. You will work closely with business unit managers, Information Services, suppliers and international partners within AF/KL.
What will you do?
As a Business Analyst, you are the link between the Product Owners, Project Managers and the technical IT teams.
Your primary role is to understand and translate business requirements into meaningful insights for IT developers. Conversely, you must translate technical concepts into non-technical language so that everyone understands what is happening. In addition, you will work alongside colleagues in the business and delve into processes together to brainstorm improvement opportunities and user adoption.
A few key tasks:
- Analysing and modelling business processes, actively engaging with and establishing contacts with stakeholders
- Developing requirements and use cases, in close collaboration with the user organisation/product team
- Developing business cases focused on (maximum) concrete business value creation
- Designing, developing, and implementing process improvements
- Designing IT solutions, in close collaboration with users, architects, and IT specialists
- Coordinating and participating in testing, data migration,
- Implementation (change management), and user support for new IT solutions
Where do you land?
You will be working within the Information Management Organisation (IMO) of KLM Engineering & Maintenance. IMO supports the business in achieving its objectives through continuous optimisation of processes, information provision and organisation. You will work closely with operational staff, Information Services, suppliers and international partners within AF/KL.
You will work in the Transversal Engineering & Maintenance domain, with a primary focus on SAP authorisation management. You will contribute to documenting and optimising business processes and authorisation management activities, and translating business requirements into clear access requirements. In addition, you will facilitate communication between business stakeholders and SAP teams and support audit activities.
All of this will mainly take place from building 404 at Schiphol East. Developments are currently taking place within our organisation that may lead to a reorganisation of departments. This vacancy is part of that dynamic, in which we strive for transparency and involvement throughout the process.
Your profile
- You have a university degree/equivalent working and thinking level.
- You have relevant work experience in IT, Digital & Data.
- You have thorough knowledge of E&M business processes or you are an enthusiastic and proactive professional with an interest in aviation.
- You have experience in modelling business processes (including BPMN & ML modelling).
- Knowledge of SAP and authorisation management is an advantage
- You are able to break down complex problems to their core and propose clear, understandable solutions that are embraced by the environment
