Working at our flight service

At Transavia you work with approximately 650 pilots, divided into First Officers and Captains. From day one you gain the confidence and you can fly, alternately with your colleague Captain, in our very diverse route network with more than 90 destinations. These are challenging destinations that require a lot of hands-on flying, and that makes your work extra challenging. During every flight you ensure that everyone on board experiences a safe and enjoyable flight. You do this together with the crew and colleagues who support flight operations, within and outside Transavia. Moreover, you have a good work/life balance, you always sleep at home, because we have few stops.

Working in the Cabin

When working in the cabin, a Transavia aircraft is your working area. Here you welcome passengers, prepare everything for take-off and once in the air you focus on taking care of the passengers. You do everything to ensure that the passengers leaves with a smile. Wherever you fly with our guests, you will return home every day. And because we fly from Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Eindhoven, there is a good chance that you will work close to home. You can be enterprising and creative, everything that contributes to a good journey for our customers and you do that together in a close and real team. You are open to innovation, such as the new Airbus. Moreover, your career at Transavia can quickly grow, because you can grow from Cabin Attendant 1 to Cabin Attendant 2, or from Cabin Attendant 2 to Purser. There is enough variety, also thanks to side activities on the ground.

Working at our Technical Department

As a technician, you ensure that our fleet is in top condition. You do this by carrying out good and thorough maintenance. This requires knowing the entire aircraft and this provides a lot of variety in your work. The entire aircraft is your responsibility, in the hangar and on the line. You work together in a relatively small team, in a good atmosphere, on quality that you can be proud of. With the arrival of the new Airbus you contribute to sustainability. Plus this involves new modern techniques!

Working in our IT department

Transavia's IT organization consists of approximately 260 colleagues. Together with them, you provide the technology that helps Transavia to give our passengers and colleagues an awesome experience during the journey they make with or with us. Safe, innovative and trusted. Within Transavia you will have the confidence and space to shape products together with your colleagues. From vision to realization. From development to management. One day you can work with your team on numerous changes within Transavia. The next day you, based on your specialty, actually contribute to the security, stability and continuity of our organization.

Working at Strategy, Data & Intelligence

Working within Strategy, Data & Intelligence (SDI) means taking Transavia to the next level in Data & Analytics. Your talent and know-how will have a crucial and central place at Transavia, because everything is data. And data is everything. You work for all business domains, so you can work on different topics and data solutions. Such as a prediction model for the number of passengers, the number of products sold and tools to fly lighter and shorter, which in turn contributes to sustainability.

Working at our office

Within Transavia we also have many different functions on the ground. This way you can work on designing an optimal network with associated flight schedule and determine what crew, fleet and ground handling is needed. Or you are busy preparing flights; from 8 months to 48 hours before departure or from 48 hours before departure. You can also support the flight operation or the business from departments such as HR, Finance, Communication, Information Security and Sustainability & Innovation.
