The selection process for the Management Traineeship consists of the following steps

- Online assessment (three test components)
- Recording a personal video message
- Selection interview
- Offline assessment day

The vacancies for the Management Traineeship starting in September 2025 will open around March 2025. Keep an eye on the official career website and socials for updates!
During this period, webinars will also be organized for each track. These are informative (online) sessions where all information about the program and the track will be provided, and current trainees will be present to answer questions. Registration for the webinar is only possible via the link mentioned in the vacancy, so early registration is not possible.

Performance dashboard
After a thorough analysis, you will set up a dashboard at KLM Cityhopper so that they can see the performance of the new type of aircraft purchased. For this, you analyse the agreements around commissioning and the aircraft's actual performance. You compare the actual performance with the standard KLM has in mind and make clear the financial impact of any deviations.
Working together with VP Finance
You are directly linked to the VP Finance in one of the businesses. You will participate fully in the MT, support the regular finance processes and pick up projects from his/her portfolio. By participating at this level and at the same time being responsible for a number of concrete projects, this assignment will give you a good idea of the scope and impact of Finance within KLM.
