Will this be one of your assignments?
KLM's transition to the cloud
You will support KLM's transition to the Cloud. Air France - KLM is undergoing a major transformation called 'NGDC: next generation data centre', with the transition to the Cloud at its core. KLM is more than a century old, has many business units and very many systems that are connected in all sorts of ways; together, this forms a complex puzzle. You understand: just moving an application to the Cloud is difficult. It requires good considerations, a clear picture of impact and dependencies and a clear plan. Are you up for it?
Roll-out self check-in
During the roll-out of our self check-in equipment at Schiphol Airport, you coordinate with the stakeholders involved. Think of departments such as Digital, Ground Operations and Security. Together with your colleagues, you identify all conditions and clarify the business needs for a successful roll-out. By working closely with Digital and Ground, you will get a good picture of our strategy to enable as much self-service as possible. In a short time, you will learn how to interact with different departments as well as how business and IT work together.
