We want you as a Data Analyst (Passenger & Operations Control) at Transavia

Are you the Data Analyst who can provide us with "actionable" insights? As a Data Analyst, you are the expert who meets the information needs of the Passenger & Operations Control (P&OC) domain. You know the business processes and the data sources that describe the relevant processes. You are an expert in modeling data, setting up research, and building dashboards on, for example, our operational performance, insights into the customer experience in the event of disruptions, or scenarios focused on current developments around operational challenges or disruptions.

What will you do?

Passenger & Operations Control is at the heart of Transavia. This includes the Operations Control Center, which can be seen as our air traffic control, where we monitor all aspects of our operation 24/7. The goal of this department is to ensure that we execute our flight schedule according to planning and objectives, so that our passengers are assured of a good journey. In the event of disruptions, the domain adjusts the planning and at the same time informs our passengers as best as possible. Customer contact is also controlled from this domain, which also includes the Service Centers. This way we keep a good grip on the 'happy & unhappy' journey for our passengers. As a Data Analyst, you provide the data, information and analysis that this domain can use to steer towards achieving an excellent operation, whereby we try to minimize the impact of disruptions for both the operation and the passengers. And supply the domain with insights that contribute to improving our customer services for the customer.

As a Data Analyst, you are responsible on a daily basis for obtaining insights that can be put into action immediately. More specifically:

  • You actively provide (requested and unsolicited) insights and tooling that contribute to the implementation of the strategy and making better choices within your domain, such as: insights into flight performance, insights for operational planning or the customer experience in the unhappy flow;
  • You help them identify the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and you are the person who knows everything about the KPIs within your domain. You make them measurable, and interpret them (trends) to come to concrete decisions and actions;
  • You are able to choose the right content and form in terms of data source, analysis and presentation (report, dashboard, or another form) which you develop yourself and continuously optimize if necessary;
  • You continuously choose the right balance between managing existing dashboards and reports, and new (strategic) issues that lead to other insights and perspectives;
  • You enable the business to work more data-driven, but also take on a proactive advisory role;
  • Together with your business colleagues, you also validate whether the data in the delivered dashboards represents reality.

Where do you land?

Where will you work?

From the central Strategy, Data & Intelligence (SDI) team, you are an important link between business and analytics, and you guide Transavia towards a more data-driven culture. This central team leads the transformation to data-driven work, advises departments on the basis of information and insights, and builds data and AI solutions for Transavia customers and employees. You work closely with the rest of the team (consisting of Analytics Translators, Business Consultants, Data Analysts, Data Scientists and Data Engineers), and the stakeholders within your domain (Passenger & Operations Control). You also maintain a close cooperation with our colleagues from Transavia France.
