Agile Transformation Intern - KLM Engineering
At the KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Engineering department, we are in the middle of a large-scale Agile transformation across 40+ engineering teams. These teams operate in a complex, highly regulated environment where reliability, safety, and speed are critical.
To steer this transformation effectively, we need to make Agile maturity measurable, transparent, and actionable. That’s where you come in.
What will you do?
Your Mission
Build a live Power BI dashboard, fed by a repeatable digital data-collection process, that shows how Agile-mature our engineering teams are — and help sharpen the framework behind the questions we ask.
Your work will directly impact how engineering teams:
- Prioritize work
- Improve delivery predictability
- Balance planned vs. unplanned work
- Increase overall effectiveness
What You Will Do
- Build a Power BI dashboard that visualizes Agile maturity data for teams and leadership
- Design a digital questionnaire (e.g. Microsoft Forms) to assess team maturity
- Set up a repeatable data collection process so the assessment can be run again each quarter without manual rework
- Structure and clean the resulting data so it flows reliably into the dashboard
- Review our existing Agile maturity framework together with the Agile coaches and suggest improvements, informed by what the data shows
- Present your findings to teams and leadership in a clear, actionable way
Your end result: a working dashboard and a repeatable questionnaire process that we will continue to use after your internship ends.
