Do you want to work in an environment where technology, teamwork and craftsmanship come together? As a mechanic at KLM Engineering & Maintenance, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance and safety of our aircraft. For example, you can start as a Mechanic Components, inspecting and repairing complex hydraulic systems such as landing gear and brakes. Or you may choose to specialize as a wheel or brake mechanic, where you’ll be dismantling, inspecting and assembling aircraft wheels and brakes. Working on emergency equipment is also part of the job, from checking and maintaining oxygen bottles and life vests to emergency slides.
