Internships

Your study period is one big voyage of discovery, these are the years that prepare you for 'real' life. And we'd like to help you with that. At KLM, you can find internships at every level and in every discipline, and who knows, we might even have a job for you afterwards. But wherever you end up after graduation, we promise that your time with us will definitely help you spread your wings. Sounds good, right?

Vocational internships

We offer dozens of challenging internships every year for aspiring aviation service technicians and aircraft maintenance engineers. For example, you will be working on various types of aircraft in our hangars, or on the apron at Schiphol-Centre. Or you will be in the arrival or departure hall, or on the piers at Schiphol, providing the very best service during your internship as a service or gate agent? Then check with your internship coordinator. We work together with schools throughout the Netherlands.

University and bachelor internships

Whether you study communications, mechatronics, or data science, at KLM you will find internships in all shapes and sizes. Most are collaborative internships, but occasionally graduates are also welcome. You will often work between four and five days. But don't worry, you will have plenty of time to complete your study assignments. Are you doing a graduation research project? In collaboration with us and your work placement supervisor, you'll have the opportunity to decide on the subject and scope of your research. We also have room for working students, for anyone who is working on a master's degree but also wants to gain some work experience for a good salary.
