Cargo Experience Day

Do you work in an operational environment and want to discover what else happens within KLM? Have you always wanted to know what goes on behind the scenes with the cargo transported around the world every day? The KLM Cargo Experience Days are your chance to experience the world of Cargo for yourself.

During this event, you will discover everything involved in transporting cargo by air. A great deal happens before a shipment is loaded onto an aircraft—from receiving and inspecting cargo to assembling shipments and preparing them for departure. Everything must be done at the right time and in accordance with the correct procedures.

What can you expect during a KLM Cargo Experience Day?

You will shadow our colleagues and learn about the different areas, roles and teams within Cargo operations. You will see the operation in action, visit places you might not normally have access to and experience just how much collaboration, responsibility and teamwork are needed to transport cargo safely and on time around the world.

Our colleagues will tell you about their work, share their experiences and show you what makes their jobs so special. Through guided tours and live demonstrations on the work floor, you will gain a realistic impression of both the work and the people who keep everything moving.
