Inflight Services

At Inflight Services, we help create optimal flight experiences behind the scenes - for passengers and employees.
Within Inflight Services, you work on the onboard experience. Behind the scenes, you support cabin colleagues and develop new products and services. This way, you make life in the cabin easier and continuously improve the journey for passengers.
Discover the division
Within Inflight Services, everything that shapes a positive flight experience comes together. What passengers see when boarding. What is served in the air. How a night flight offers rest and a short European journey runs efficiently.
You support cabin colleagues in the broadest sense. From practical solutions in the Crew Service Hub to developing new service concepts. What is designed at the office must work seamlessly in the cabin.
Here, you translate customer insights and brand promise into decisions that fit within a 24/7 operation. Every adjustment must align with planning, loading and safety requirements. You work closely with Cabin Crew, catering partners and colleagues from Engineering & Maintenance (E&M). What is developed here quickly becomes part of flights to destinations worldwide.
What this lookes like
The cabin is one of the places where we turn more sustainable choices into practical action. Sometimes this means small adjustments, such as lighter materials or fewer packaging elements. Sometimes it involves improving processes without adding extra complexity for the crew. Clear communication and practical support ensure that changes fit naturally into daily operations.
The same level of care can be seen in the continued development of our World Business Class. Teams looked beyond seat comfort. They analyzed feedback scores, observed service flows and tested lighting settings during night flights. Small adjustments in seating zones and service sequence made a noticeable difference for passengers and crew.
In addition, a new on-demand service was developed for intercontinental flights. Passengers can order what they want, when they want it. This requires smart coordination between product development, logistics and onboard execution.
The onboard wifi experience was also improved. Data analysis showed where connections dropped and when passengers disengaged. Together with suppliers and colleagues from Commercial, solutions were tested that now ensure a better wifi experience on board.
Room to grow
The cabin environment continues to evolve. That requires curiosity and craftsmanship.
Within Inflight Services, you can follow training in hospitality, supply chain, data analytics or project management. You join communities where colleagues share knowledge about product development and service.
You collaborate with international catering partners and suppliers. This broadens your understanding of how global cooperation impacts a single meal or service moment.
Whether you want to deepen your expertise in service development or grow towards larger cabin projects, that opportunity is there.
Your role
As a professional within Inflight Services, you translate insights into concrete improvements in the cabin. You analyze feedback and develop concepts that you then test in daily operations. What you prepare must function smoothly during boarding, service and landing.
You support cabin colleagues so they can focus on delivering their best work. At the same time, you help shape products and services that passengers directly experience.
What you develop or improve today may be part of a flight to São Paulo or Singapore tomorrow. Your contribution takes off with every flight.
