Airframe

Within Airframe, we inspect, maintain and repair aircraft for KLM and approximately 200 other airlines worldwide. From quick checks on the apron to extensive overhauls in the hangar – we ensure every aircraft remains in top condition.
More than 2,000 colleagues, from mechanics to avionics specialists, work in day, evening and night shifts on Boeing and Airbus aircraft.

What that looks like

Our Line Maintenance teams are on standby 24/7 at Schiphol and international stations to keep aircraft operational. They perform daily inspections and A-checks (routine inspections) and resolve technical issues on site.

In the hangars at Schiphol-East, we perform Base Maintenance: hundreds of A- and C-checks (routine and in-depth maintenance) every year, alongside major repairs. Specialized teams within Wide Body, Narrow Body, Modification and Maintenance Support handle structural work, interior upgrades and complex modifications – such as installing a completely new business class.

Your role

As a technician, planner or engineer, you are the link that keeps our aircraft flying safely. You inspect, maintain and sign off when a plane is ready for departure. Your work takes flight every time an aircraft leaves Schiphol. Together, we keep aviation moving.
