Here, we inspect, maintain, and repair the aircraft of KLM and approximately 200 other airlines worldwide.

Airframe is the heart of our aircraft maintenance. Here, we inspect, maintain, and repair the aircraft of KLM and approximately 200 other airlines worldwide. From quick checks on the apron to extensive overhauls in the hangar: we ensure that every aircraft remains in top condition.

Our line maintenance teams are on standby 24/7 at Schiphol and international stations to keep aircraft operational. In the hangars, we perform base maintenance: hundreds of A-checks (routine inspections) and C-checks (in-depth maintenance) annually. On Boeing and Airbus aircraft, major maintenance and complex modifications such as installing a completely new business class. Over 2,000 colleagues - from mechanics to avionics specialists - ensure that every aircraft can safely take to the skies again, day after day.
