What are you going to do?

You will be working at one of our business platforms in Data & Technology. • Grow & foster your teams: You are the manager of 2 - 3 teams of software engineers. As such you are responsible for the quality and performance of their contribution to the teams and for their well-being and job satisfaction while still having plenty of time to be hands-on.
  • Coaching multiple teams in the intricacies and best practices of data & software engineering, API design (API everything!), containers, configuration & infrastructure as code and cloud architecture
  • Designing the right architecture with your teams and evaluate technology choices to solve the problem at hand

Where do you land?

As software engineering lead in our Business Platform Safety, Security & Crisis Management (SSC), you will be an integral part of shaping the future of KLM and the aviation industry. You will work closely with fellow engineering leads, data scientists, product owners, analysts, and operations experts to create innovative solutions. You will have the flexibility to work from the Operations Control Center (where our customers are located), our SSC office, or from the comfort of your own home. Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with a team of highly skilled, ambitious, and helpful colleagues!
