Within Digital, the objective is to make the customer journey as hassle free and personalized as possible across all domains, in order to make the customer keep coming back to Air France KLM.

The opportunity to become a platform company is increasingly evident today. Thanks to APIs, companies gain a new ability to connect to their customers by expanding their channels, innovating their offers, and improving engagement. With that trend in mind, Air France KLM started its open API journey in 2013, and today, we have a marketplace where internal and external consumers could explore, get access, and use our APIs. In this context, the Developer Portal team is in charge of developing and maintaining the developer portal (API marketplace) and helping the external consumers connect effortlessly.

Are you willing to make a real difference to our passengers?

Can you work with stakeholders and developers with different areas of expertise and coming from various organizational domains, locations and cultural backgrounds?

Would you like to collaborate with our partnership managers and external companies?  Do you want to work in the most innovative and dynamic environment within AFKL?

If you answer these questions with YES, then we might have the opportunity for you!

What are you going to do?

As a Product Owner for API Enablement you will be responsible for the developer portal, as well as acting as API community manager. On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities include:

  • Manage the developer portal’s product team sprints, roadmap and vision, lifecycle and stakeholders
  • Pick up various tasks, eg. test within the team if required to unblock impediments
  • Prepare quarterly scrum planning (PI) ceremonies (alignments, refinements etc.)
  • Advocate for maturity and improvements across all AFKL API product teams
  • Ensure APIs meet consumer needs & requirements and onboarding is smooth
  • Facilitate the developer community, suggesting impovements and guidelines in documentation or technical environments
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute API access enablement steps, including initial analysis, approvals, technical analysis, test, granting access, and deployment
  • Constantly analyze the current partner onboarding process, including the developer portal experience, and advise on improvements
  • Analyze data and share insights within the API community, focusing on “analytics” to ensure data-driven decision making

Where do you land?

Within Air France KLM Digital, we have implemented the Agile way of working (SAFE methodology).
